KMG Parker Drilling Company
KMG Parker Drilling Company Limited Liability Partnership (hereinafter referred to as the Company) is a joint venture established in 2018 by KMG Drilling & Services LLP, a subsidiary of JSC NC KazMunayGas, and Parker Wellbore - Parker Drilling Netherlands B.V., a subsidiary of the American corporation Parker Wellbore, to implement joint projects in oil and gas condensate fields of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The main activity of the Company is drilling and workover of wells. The Company pays great attention to providing high quality services, attracting and introducing advanced world technologies, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, maintaining the level of local content of personnel and GWS (goods, works and services).
At present, the KPDC staff consists of highly qualified specialists in the field of drilling, 100% local personnel. Foreign consultants with experience in global fields are involved in the execution of works.
Since 2018, KPDC has been performing works at the Karachaganak oil and gas condensate field in West Kazakhstan region, providing services for the field operator - Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V.

General Buffer Zone Rules!

Applicable to all crew and visitors, both KPO and Business Partners - Full mandatory PPE required outside the Buffer zone - boots, coveralls, gloves (as per glove matrix), glasses, helmet
- Mandatory PPE (filter mask & personal H2S detector) are required all time, including inside the Buffer Zone
- Inside the Buffer Zone, closed-toe shoes and suitable clothing to be worn. No sandals, flip flops or crocs, no shorts and sleeveless vests
- Appropriate PPE shall be used for any work tasks carried out inside Buffer Zone
- Non-EX rated mobile devices can be used and stored only inside the premises of Buffer Zone
- Drivers of vehicles entering rig site can have and use non-EX rated mobile devices only inside the vehicle cabin
- Vehicles to be parked on the side of the road outside the main rig entrance, or in areas as identified by Drilling Supervisor/ Rig Manager. No parking inside Buffer zone
- Jewellery should not to be worn at rig! Shall be removed and kept in the buffer zone’s storage areas only
- For all barriers outside the Buffer Zone, do not cross the barrier without explicit confirmation from the Barrier Owner
- No videos or pictures are allowed to be taken without approval of KPO Drilling Supervisor/ Rig Manager
KMG Parker Drilling Company LLP (the Company) is responsible to the society for preserving the environment, complies with all standards and requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of environmental safety, minimizes the impact of production on the environment by preventing pollution and reducing emissions, as well as transferring waste for further processing and neutralization.
In order to comply with environmental standards, the Company operates in accordance with the developed and approved Environmental Control Program and Environmental Action Plan for 2018-2027, according to which the Company:
- Maintains continuous record and control of air emissions, equipment condition and production area;
- conducts annual tree planting activities within the city limits of Aksai, Burlin district;
- carries out separate removal and utilization of production and consumption wastes before their final neutralization or recycling;
- conducts professional development activities for the Company's environmental specialists.
In order to comply with environmental standards, the Company operates in accordance with the developed and approved Environmental Control Program and Environmental Action Plan for 2018-2027, according to which the Company:
